A meadow of 2500 sqm is mown in squares of 2 x 2 m. Two different tones of green grass colour give an exact geometric pattern – an artificial human structure.
In this state the meadow is left over to animals – a herd of cows – who deal with it according to their own necessities and customs.
The process was documented from the top of a crane and an aeroplane.
The works was finished as soon as all the squares had been eaten up
and meadow showed an evenly bright green colour.
